Our youth volleyball league is perfect for boys and girls from 2nd through 8th grade, regardless of their experience level. We focus on a proven model that balances instruction with real gameplay, ensuring every participant learns and applies new skills.

Key Program Highlights:

• Skill-First Focus: Each weekly session dedicates the first 45 minutes to crucial individual skill-building, led by experienced 1st Alliance/Lions Jrs staff. This intensive training ensures players master the fundamentals of the game.
• Game Time: The training is immediately followed by a 30-minute game, giving players the opportunity to practice teamwork and strategy in a fun, competitive environment. It’s the ideal setting for youth volleyball skill development and gameplay experience.
• Expert Coaching Model: While each team is supported by a dedicated parent volunteer coach, all practices are overseen by a senior 1st Alliance/Lions Jrs coach. This ensures high-quality instruction and provides mentoring for our parent coaches, maintaining a consistent, high standard of training.

Program Information:

• Who: Boys & Girls 2nd – 8th Grade.
• Where: Sawmill Sports Hub in Willowbrook, IL.
• Cost: $180 + $30 one-time annual facility membership fee (includes T-shirt). Parent Coaches $140.
• When: Fridays—
  • 2nd – 5th Grades: 4:00 – 5:00 pm
  • 6th – 8th Grades: 5:00 – 6:00 pm
• Season Dates: The season runs on Fridays starting November 7th, with sessions on 11/14, 11/21, 12/5, 12/12, and 12/19 (no session 11/28).
