It may only be October, but the time to plan for winter fun is now! Registration is officially LIVE for our upcoming Flag Football Leagues. Whether the snow is falling or the sun is shining, the game is ALWAYS ON at Sawmill. Get ready for a season of action, skill-building, and fun in a balanced, supportive environment.

Our leagues are built on the principles of fun, fairness, and skill development. Designed for beginner to intermediate players, this is the perfect place for young athletes to build confidence, learn the game, and connect with teammates without the stress of highly competitive play.

The Sawmill Difference: Fair Play & Parity

We take pride in creating an experience where every participant can shine. Our core goal is NO TEAM STACKING—just fair and fun gameplay!

Teams Built by Us: We form all teams to ensure parity across the entire league. This means a balanced experience for every player and every game.
No “Stacking”: Teams are not allowed to register together to “stack” a roster.
Friend Requests: You can request one friend, and that request must be mutual (reciprocated) to be granted.
Rules for Balance: Our game rules are specifically designed to eliminate a single dominant player from taking over a game, encouraging true teamwork and participation from everyone.

Leagues for Everyone: Co-Ed & Girls-Only

We are excited to offer two fantastic pathways to the field:

1. Recreational Co-Ed Flag Football League

This league is perfect for young athletes looking to sharpen their skills and join a team. Divisions are offered for 1st & 2nd grade, 3rd & 4th grade, 5th & 6th grade, and 7th & 8th grade players. The league emphasizes fun, teamwork, and skill-building.

2. Girls Only Flag Football League

This inclusive environment is specially designed for girls who want to learn and grow their skills in a supportive, non-competitive atmosphere with their peers. Divisions are offered for 5th & 6th grade girls and 7th & 8th grade girls. The focus is on building confidence and a love for the game.

Parent Coaches: Join Our Team!

We rely on volunteer Parent Coaches to lead our teams and ensure a positive, encouraging experience for all players. As a huge thank you, the children of parents who volunteer to coach will receive 50% off their league registration!

Season Details: Plan Your Winter!

We offer two distinct sessions to keep the action going all winter long:

Winter I Flag Football ’25 (Co-Ed & Girls Only)

Dates: Nov 7 – Jan 18 (8 weeks)
Ages: 6–14 (teams grouped by age)
Cost: $140 + $30 one-time annual facility membership fee.
Game Days: Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
No Games: Nov 28–30 & Dec 26 – Jan 4.

Winter II Flag Football ’26 (Co-Ed & Girls Only)

Dates: Jan 23 – Mar 27 (10 weeks)
Ages: 6–14 (teams grouped by age)
Cost: $175 + $30 one-time annual facility membership fee.
Game Days: Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

Game Days for all teams (Co-Ed and Girls Only) will be on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Team schedules will be provided before the season begins.
