Youth Volleyball League in Willowbrook Led by Illinois’ #1 Volleyball Club

Sawmill Sports Hub is proud to partner with 1st Alliance/Lions Jrs Volleyball Club, recognized as the #1 volleyball club in Illinois, to offer a fun and competitive youth volleyball league in Willowbrook. Designed for boys and girls in grades 1st–8th, this program emphasizes skill development first and then applies those skills through structured gameplay.

This youth volleyball league provides athletes with a strong foundation in volleyball fundamentals while helping them learn how to compete, communicate, and work as a team. With professional-led training and an age-appropriate league format, players gain confidence and game awareness in a supportive and development-focused environment.

Program Highlights

  • Weekly Training and Gameplay: Each session includes 45 minutes of focused skill instruction followed by a 30-minute game where players apply what they’ve learned in live play.
  • Who Can Participate: Open to all experience levels. Available to grades 2nd–8th during the fall session and grades 1st–8th during the winter session.
  • Pro-Led Coaching Model: Practices are led by an experienced 1st Alliance/Lions Jrs Volleyball Club coach who mentors parent volunteer coaches, ensuring consistent instruction and meaningful player development throughout the season.

Winter 1 Session League Information:

Boys & Girls 1st – 8th Grade

Cost: $360 + $30 one-time annual facility membership fee (includes program T-shirt). Parent Coaches $140.

Game Days: Fridays

1st – 4th Grades: 4:45 – 5:45 pm.

5th – 8th Grades 5:45 – 6:55 pm.

Format: Practice followed by gameplay.

Youth Volleyball All-Skills Clinic Led by Illinois’ #1 Volleyball Club

Join the 1st Alliance/Lions Jrs Volleyball Club coaching staff for a weekly youth volleyball all-skills clinic designed to increase touches, confidence, and overall game understanding. Hosted at Sawmill Sports Hub, this clinic focuses on high-repetition training to help athletes improve core volleyball fundamentals in a structured and supportive environment.

This all-skills volleyball clinic covers passing, setting, attacking, serving, and overall gameplay, with each session emphasizing a specific skill while still reinforcing total athlete development. Classes conclude with competitive drills or gameplay to help players apply skills in live-action situations.

  • Weekly Clinic Format: 60-minute clinic-style training sessions focused on developing all volleyball skills through repetition, instruction, and game-based drills.
  • Who Can Participate: Open to boys and girls in grades 4th–8th of all experience levels. Players do not need to be enrolled in the Friday league to participate.

What: Weekday practices with our Lions Staff during the winter. Can be used IN ADDITION to the winter league or IN PLACE OF the winter league.

Youth Volleyball Serving and Attacking Clinic Led by the Top Volleyball Club in Illinois

Due to popular demand, 1st Alliance/Lions Jrs Volleyball Club coaches host a weekly Youth Volleyball Serving and Attacking Clinic at Sawmill Sports Hub. This focused clinic helps athletes develop stronger, more consistent offensive skills through purposeful instruction and high-repetition training.

Clinic sessions emphasize proper arm swing mechanics, throwing fundamentals, and technique progression that directly translate into more effective volleyball serving and attacking. Each class concludes with competitive serving or attacking games that allow players to apply skills in game-like situations.

Offered weekly throughout the fall, this clinic is an excellent option for players looking to improve offensive confidence, power, and control while training in a supportive, development-focused environment.

Holiday Volleyball Camp Powered by 1st Alliance Volleyball Club

Serve, pass, spike, and continue developing your game during the holiday break at Sawmill Sports Hub. Our Holiday Volleyball Camp, led by the elite coaching staff of 1st Alliance Volleyball Club, provides youth athletes with high-level instruction in a fun, energetic, and supportive training environment.

Camp sessions focus on all major volleyball fundamentals, including serving, passing, setting, hitting, and defensive movement, while also helping players improve court awareness, confidence, and overall game understanding through purposeful drills and competitive play.

This camp is designed for athletes of all experience levels. Whether players are new to volleyball or preparing for an upcoming school or club season, 1st Alliance coaches deliver development-focused, fast-paced training that is tailored to each athlete’s individual skill level.

This holiday volleyball camp is a great opportunity for young athletes to stay active, sharpen their skills, and train with some of the top volleyball coaches in the area while enjoying high-quality programming at Sawmill Sports Hub.
